SICA: SMART SENSOR FOR FEED CONTROL

Validated in aquaculture cages

The Smart Sensor for Feed Control (SICA) in aquaculture farms, marketed by Camar Industrial S.A. and developed by the CTN – Naval and Marine Technology Centre, is based on passive acoustics and machine learning techniques. SICA is capable of detecting in real time when fish stop eating, and thus instructing the operator in charge of feeding or the smart feeder to stop the supply of feed.
